Bioshaft Water Technology Inc. announced that it has been chosen by Mace to bid on the Barari housing development in Dubai, UAE. The project is required to treat 32,000,000 cubic meters per day of tertiary and sewage. BioShaft is in the process of bidding on the project as requested by Mace, a project management company with offices in Dubai. Working across all sectors, Mace has been involved in some of the most high-profile projects including the Mall of the Emirates and the Jumeriah Beach resort and residences. Work is currently underway on the extensive redevelopment of the Dubai World Trade Centre.

BioShaft Water Technology Inc. announced that its patented technology the Hans BioShaft System has been selected as the sole provider of 13 domestic wastewater treatment plants in the municipality of Baghdad in Iraq. The contract between FPS and the municipality of Baghdad is valued at $56 Million and manufacturing is expected to begin in mid 2008.

Bioshaft Water Technology Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement with Rapid Impact Contraction Compacting LLC, based in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. The Agreement provides the basis for the companies to jointly pursue SewageTreatment Projects in the Gulf Region, with exclusivity in the UAE. RIC has expertise that complements the technology of the Hans BioShaft System. BioShaft and RIC have already bid on a number of tenders in Dubai and are pursuing future opportunities in the area. BioShaft will assist RIC over a five-year period to develop a division within RIC that specializes in sewage treatment plants using the patented Hans BioShaft Technology. The development will take place on a project by project basis.
